Construction is officially underway at Glencoe Beach! Work started Tuesday, September 8, and the beach is now closed while construction continues.

Join us for the final weekend of beach season! Lifeguards will be on duty Labor Day weekend, including Monday, September 7, weather permitting. After Labor Day, Glencoe Beach will be closed to all visitors for a major renovation.

The Glencoe Park District Invites Feedback Regarding ADA Compliance
The Glencoe Park District is updating its Transition Plan for existing parks and facilities, as required by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Towards that end, the District invites people with disabilities and their family members to share their preferences and priorities regarding accessibility. A meeting will occur on Tuesday, October 6, 2026 from 5:00-6:30 pm at the Takiff Center, 999 Green Bay Rd., Glencoe, IL 60022.
